Cheers to the Best

Las Vegas is all about the best. Plaques adorn the walls of local restaurants, nightclubs and bars.  Vegas Seven is releasing its Annual Best of the City issue this week, and Vegas/Rated releases its own version in August. I get asked some crazy questions on what I think are the best spots in town. Here are a few.

Nightclubs

Best Place to dance like a stripper: 1 Oak Nightclub at Mirage

The dance poles are equipped with fans that shoot up, making your hair flow like a scene out of Flashdance.

Best Price for bottles: Chateau Nightclub at Paris

You can score a bottle for under $400. Trust me, it’s a killer deal.

Best place that makes you go “whoa”: XS Nightclub at Encore

The moment you step down the stairs you be amazed by the gold décor, huge layout, and a beautiful pool that sits behind a massive LED DJ display.

Best place for honey badgers: Krave Nightclub at Planet Hollywood

Even if you’re not gay, this place is crazy fun. I think I’ve seen it all there because guests simply don’t give a …

Pools

Best place where it’s okay to get in the water: Encore Beach Club at Encore

It could be because the pool is massive, but the water stays pretty clear throughout the day.

Best looking staff: Wet Republic at MGM

Whether you’re into girls or guys, the staff here is by far the hottest.

Best Champagne showers: Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria

A Champagne fire drill goes down every few hours where the hot staff surrounds the edge of the pool, shakes the bottles and sprays the crowd.

Best place to get a tan: Bare Pool at Mirage

If you hate tan lines, you don’t have to worry at Bare because this pool allows you to go topless. And no, that doesn’t mean you can go bottomless, too.

Casino & Hotels:

Best place for a staycation: Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino

The rooms are by far my favorite. They come equipped with a mini kitchen where you feel like you’re living there.

Best place for the walk of shame: The Hotel at Mandalay Bay

There’s nothing worse than walking through a casino wearing the same clothes from the night before, smeared make-up and bed head. The Hotel has the closet access to cabs and self-park, so you can sneak out without being seen by judgmental early risers.

Best smelling: Aria Resort & Casino

I love walking in and experiencing the sweet smell of vanilla every time.

Best bang for buck: Tropicana Las Vegas

Many don’t know the casino and all the rooms recently underwent a major makeover. Replicating a high-class Miami scene, you can stay here for under $100.

Restaurants:

Best place for a killer deal: Ra Sushi at Fashion Show Mall

Ra’s happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday – Sunday gets you cheap tasty rolls and sake to chase it down with.

Best place to eat when you’re drunk:  Peppermill

This place could be good for hangovers as well with killer Bloody Marys. Open 24 hours and located on the north end of the Strip, this spot is popular for the industry folk.

Best place to cure your sweet tooth: Neapolitan at The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool

I’ve already mentioned previously this place is the bomb.com. Hands down, no one can compete with the sweet treats that can get you drunk too.

Best place to feel swanky: Fix at Bellagio

Bellagio is known for its celebrity appearances and FIX caters to quite a bit of them. Hang out in the lounge and mingle with the elite while sipping on a signature martini.

I could list a million other questions I get asked, but who has time to read it all? If you need to down low on something you desire, you can email me at agent21@spyonvegas.com. Just don’t ask me anything you wouldn’t ask your ask your mother or father — depending who would judge you the most.
